Peggy March talks about our new album ALWAYS AND FOREVER, how it came about and what the songs are about. Peggy made her recording debut at the tender age of 14 by RCA Records, and in 1963 she topped the US Billboard charts with her #1 hit record "I Will Follow Him", a song that has become a standard ever since. While Peggy landed four more hits in the US charts, she became a big star in Japan and particularly in Germany where she became a household name with countless TV-performances. By the end of the 70s, she had more than 30 chart hits to her credit! In the 80s, Peggy's career cooled off as she moved back to the US to raise her daughter. Still she co-wrote the song "When The Rain Begins To Fall" which became a European #1 hit for Jermaine Jackson & Pia Zadora in 1984. In the 90s, Peggy moved back to Germany to revitalize her career with another string of albums and singles, as well as being a regular performer in Las Vegas. However, throughout all these years of singing in German, Peggy had the wish to record an album in English again.

The songs on ALWAYS AND FOREVER are an exciting mixture of pop, disco and dance tracks together with grand ballads (the title track) and even a Northern Soul-style track ("Graduation Day") as a tribute to her 60s legacy. The song "I Still Follow You" with its grand orchestration marks a dramatic and haunting closer to the album. Also included in the album is Peggy's first recording of "When The Rain Begins To Fall" on which she duets with German singer and longtime friend Andreas Zaron. The whole album showcases Peggy's powerful voice to its fullest.

As a bonus, legendary mixer Tom Moulton has given three of the songs his "Tom Moulton Mix" treatment!

  • I would also like to add that having been a Fan of music for more years than I care to mention & having built up a well played and well loved CD collection this particular album is one I come back to again and again!! The test of any album is not merely in the purchasing of it but how many times you then play it. I understand that wienerworld have released this & I have ordered another copy!! I'll say it again!! This "truly" is "Superb"!!!

  • Night dance records has got me "Very Excited"!!!! Why? Because for the first time in years there is a label that is stepping away from the "Bland" sounds that seem to invade our every waking hour & is creating music that has melody coupled with beautiful lyrics!! The blend of Dance Music with lush orchestration is "The Best" thing to happen to the Industry in years. Now add a beautiful and gifted artist of the calibre of Peggy March & you have a recipe for success!!!! This album is "Superb"!!!
