Hello,
I have a 2002 C5 Corvette, and I am considering adding Nitrous(Maximum 100HP Shot). Many people on Corvette forums say that I have to Dyno Tune it first. Is a dyno tune just for seeing how many horsepower your car has? What is it's purpose. Thank you very much for your time.

that car is nasty what size rims are those ay any rim is better then stock
RamdonSanta: You shouldn't have to retard timing or tune the car for about a 55 hp shot and under. However, anything beyond that you will want to pull some timing out. You can take a pull on the DYNO to see how much power the car has or you can plug into it between pulls and adjust things, like advancing/retarding timing, lean/rich air fuel ration, etc... It would cost about 400 dollars roughly to tune the car. A 100/125 shot is very practical, however get the car tuned for it.
