    My only critique is that your instrument seems to be balanced extremely top-heavy. If I didn't see the video, I would think this was a double manual with the lower voice on just a single register. Can barely hear it.

    Could just be the mic placement, though. This is something a wrestle with as well.

  • Lovely playing again - such poise and fluency in the ornaments - fantastic! With my organologist's hat on, if this is the hpscd which has recently been re-strung, I wouldn't muck about with it for a few months. In any case, I don't see how one can really judge the bass/treble balance from a YouTube recording - you need to hear it live. But treating this piece as French, the best French harpsichords, like the Yale one, are voiced very softly.
