Two Ivatt engines (41312 and 41241)enter from Alresford and then Nunney Castle 5029 and Kinlett Hall 4936 enter from Alton. Then 5029 and 4936 leave for Alresford.

Filmed at Ropley station during the September 2008 steam gala.

The Mid-Hants Railway is a preserved heritage steam railway, operating in Hampshire, between Alresford and Alton.
It is also known as the Watercress Line and the MHR.

  • Weather was lovely until about 3 pm. Then all the steam from the engines formed clouds which rained on everyone!

    The Volks railway is not very reliable, watch out for the blokes in pink around Brighton.

  • Looks like you had miserable weather, yesterday.

    I went down to Brighton, to film the Volks Electric Railway, which was not running (again!). Still; there's always next year.
