and what way would that be to isolate the pectorals?
-
deadlifts can be done alot of ways. especially since you can focous the muscle usage somewhere else. but as with any common deadlift it is primarly for the hamstrings, glutes, and lower back. your putting to much emphasis on the front torso with that pull(not working much)
i may be 14 but i know a couple things from training and expirmenting. its not how much you do but how you do it. there are alot of ways to make a push up look real but only 1 way to isolate the pectorals

One of the best examples of a dumbbell dead lift on here. I think it throws people off having the weight on the side and not in front.

ok.....lol. Let me explain......A squat involves you maintaining a straight back and core through out. As you can see the back is clearly bent over, if anything else its more like a good morning.

- I do stiff leg dumbell for my hamstrings and lowerback
- With light dumbells that are 20 lbs in eahc hand
- Should I be looking down (head/neck) when I am bending over? or should I be looking straight (head/neck) when I am bending over ?
- Please reply

Really you should be keeping your chin and head up, so that your looking forward throughout the exercise. This will help you maintain a good form in the upward phase.
Dont forget to emphasise the pressure onto your heals if completing a full deadlift
