Interesting pair of blasters from Masaya, I am reviewing the PC Engine versions although I am told there is also a Saturn, Super Famicom and PS1 version.
The games stand out for their music, bosses and strange sense of humour. The difficulty is a bummer though. I'm proud to say I sucked it until I got used to it. Don't bite off more than you can chew though. I recommend a strong arm and plenty of soap if you want to complete.
THis game music is very beautiful.

Nah, still cant get on with it. Its as hard as Ron Jeremy and the constant phallic references are, quite frankly, scary. The PCE version's does look a bit more playable mind. Would you say its worth a trip to Brighton for?

I kinda feel bad about being so harsh about our mutual bald headed friend, maybe I should give him another try.. (he goes, grabs the game).

These games are hilarious lol. Never played the second but the Thomas the Tank Engine boss during Stage 3 in the original is the best :)

Cho Aniki's the most bizarre shooter i've discovered in recent times. I agree with you on the point about the character shooting system, although incredibly original those butch fellers seem a bit vague in practise seemingly. But the originality factor will definately entice me to pickup the Saturn version eventually. Top review Matt as always! :D
