This was 'Mute' records first label release In 1978.
The b-side 'Warm Leatherette' was covered by Grace Jones in 1980.
I made some finishing touches at the end of this video, because it was missing.

JOOP! is a designer clothing and cosmetics company founded by German fashion designer Wolfgang Joop. It is based in Hamburg, Germany. The company is most notable for its aftershave range.
In 1998 Joop sold 95% of his JOOP! shares to an investor and then in 2001 he sold the remaining 5%
Thank you for the prompt response. I wondered if there was a certain TV sender in the 70's named Joop. My kid's named Joop after his uncle. He'll appreciate seeing his name on TV.
thanks for posting. your "touches" at the end show great respect for the original, and fit in very well. anybody posting silly tasteless comments about this song (like: this sucks!) should be punished without pity.
It's nice to see a cool comment about showing respect by my finishing touches at the end of this video. And I have to say, you're spot on. I suppose I could have just shown a snap of the cover, but that would have been too easy, and I always think it's nice to show a bit of class stirred in with a large portion of esteem :)
As far as I know this is the original video, if not, I don't know who put it together. But, when I acquired it, it cut off towards the end. So I just added cleaner audio, & from 2:32 onwards, I made up the extra footage to finish it off. The guy staring at a TV is a picture on the back of the 7" single cover, the shot I made to flicker on the TV screen is of course (for those that don't know) taken from the front of the cover, which I also added for a split second at the start of the video.
