Time to look back on that glorious day of September 1997 after 6 years of frustration by the Big J led Ginebra team and its millions of die hard Ginebra fans.
Robert Jaworski's Gordon's Gin Boars brings home the championship in game 6 against Alaska. Game highlights from Viva Vintage PBA's Greatest Games.
Again "Nothing can compare to the real never say die Jaworski/Ginebra teams of the 80's and 90's!" so all the maka-Jaworski at maka-Ginebra enjoy!

I was grade 4 and 10 yrs old that time. I idolized Bal David for his Chamba shots. haha

I was a Ginebra fan during those Jaworski, Hizon, David, Locsin, Jarencio days. I most certainly miss the excitement that the PBA brings in me back then. Those days that most certainly give heart pounding scenarios, which will inevitably bring out a scream from my throat whenever Ginebra wins, especially when Vince Hizon scores (kahit nga ma-focus lang siya sigaw agad!) sana bumalik yun ganitong saya ng PBA. And I know what I felt was remarkable, even if I was just 10 years old at that time. =)

Bal David-UST
Noli Locsin-DLSU
Vince Hizon-ADMU
Marlou Aquino-Adamson
I was fortunate enough to see them play college basketball. Locsin and Limpot were formidable for DLSU. David, along with Espino led UST to two of it's four titles during their dynasty days. Hizon was the leading scorer for the Blue Eagles and Aquino was the fulcrum of a stacked Adamson team that included Duremdes. All of them were playing in the UAAP back in 1991.
