Oh we here in Germany we have a really different Sirene Horns.

I´m from Bavaria, but my parents come from South Poland and i come every year to Poland to my Holidayhouse and vistit my Uncels, Aunt...

And i heard many horns from different countries, but in my homeland Poland, they have great Horns.

@robertgift yes it's true your Ambulances have more lights than our own, so are more visible and drivers more disciplined, but also have special lanes for emergency vehicles, so it is easier for you

@topa1000 We have a device which flashes the headlights. Flashing headlights are a very effective signal noticed from a greater distance.

With our more effective lights, drivers often pull over earlier and I need not sound the siren.

The siren is merely a tool to draw attention to the lights.

@robertgiftok I understand, in Poland we have the urgency of the exit codes, depending on the patient's condition or the nature of the event with or without a siren, I also tried to be discreet, and save your hearing, the ambulance that this film is not loud sirens, but see my last video there are FEDERAL sirens, which are really loud

@topa1000 Our laws permit no siren when the siren is not necessary.

When traffic has moved out of our way or there no traffic, I press the P.A. microphone button (switch) which instantly silences the siren. Open button for sound.

Our siren is too loud; 200 Watts from two efficient exponential speakers.

I made our lights more effective so we do not need the siren as much. (I try to be as quiet and unobtrusive as possible.)
