New Orleans singer Ernie K-Doe topped the pop charts with his hit single "Mother-in-Law" in 1961. In 1994 his wife Antoinette opened "The Mother-in-Law Lounge" to launch his comeback and capitalize on his legend. About 10 minutes from the French Quarter, it's the closest thing you can find to being in your own David Lynch movie.
