This makes me think of my dog I lost a few weeks ago after nearly 15 years of unconditional love and friendship. Such a character -sorely missed.

Awesome awesome song! The movies were on tv today. What a wonderful reminder of my childhood. I am only 18 years old but still the movie made me think me back to my childhood.

I thought the second film had several very dark moments - dog drowning head down, disabled dog being brought back...

Says the majority of the people who have seen both movies (find the Siskel and Ebert review). And what does being nominated for an academy award prove? Look at the song that won the award the year that this song was nominated... Do you think that the fact that it won the award means that it was a better song?
