DotA 2 Video Preview - IGN

A preview of what's to come for this awaited game for the 1 million players on DotA and many like me, that without even knowing of it's awesomeness got convinced by this tournament and trailer.
I knew DotA just by it's name. But when the rumors started about Valve developing a new game with IceFrog called DotA 2. Then I said Wow! I heard of DotA before... and then I went on searching and I really liked the kind of gameplay that DotA has.

Later this year. Exclusively on Pc and Mac.
-Genre: Action RTS (Real Time Strategy Game)

-What is DotA?
DotA stands for Defense of the Ancients.
-What is Defense of the Ancients?
DotA is a mod for Warcraft III. Most specifically, a map. IceFrog is the developer.
-If IceFrog is the developer of DotA then why is Valve creating DotA 2?
Valve is developing it WITH IceFrog.

I am glad to see valve taking on new elements and gameplay, away from their original base (FPS), if they can master this, then truly they are the best game developers out there... period
