Peter Thorn is Chris Cornell's guitarist (Soundgarden, Audioslave) and has also performed with million-selling artist Daniel Powter. Here he talks us through how his G-System is set up specifically for different
tasks.
Peter then goes through some of the other many effects within his set up to show how to get specific tones.

  • how is he running all of the other stomp boxes with the g system?

  • @geetarplayer11 See part 1 (Peter Thorn on G-System)

  • This guy is really truly amazing...no doubt about it...one question I have yes...is what does he think about guys like say...Dave Meneketti of Y&T who purely rip no doubt about it...matter a fact almost every Y&T album have been purely recorded straight through a Marshall head without NOTHING but some after added affects from the engineer. No doubt this guy gets every sound from Van Halen down to Soundgarden.....but does that really help one write music creatively that lasts the test of time?

  • @cherrypieguy "but does that really help one write music creatively that lasts the test of time?"

Maybe the best question to ever ask manufactures in our line of work ..

    - I wouldn't be a part of this company if I didn't think it faced that challenge in a satisfactory way.

  • Holy shit! The patch at 4:29 is amazing! Is this standard on the G System? I love that tone and vibe, I could do so many things with it!

I hope you guys can answer me.

  • @ThomasMotion the patch is Peter Thorns.....but the effect is purely G-System......you can also get creative and cook up your own equally cool patches with G-System.
