this looks like it was a bracket race. and by my guestimations it appears the trans am was closest to his time. therefore he won. sti was .201 off of his time and the trans am was .138 off

@DUB1922 nice i got a 72 firebird thats pretty sweet i got 308 gears one legged and it still cannot put the power to the ground with huge 295 tires and a POS edelbrock vacuum secondary carb. once i get some gears and a holley double pumper and some heads and headers its gonna be unstoppable. oh i forgot its a 350 with a turbo 350 transmision so its gonna be sweet once i get an m22 rock crusher in there

@calcatchem yep my motor that im gonna build is gonna have over 650 ft lbs of torque its gonna be a 10.5:1 compression beast

@krav65 your T/A runs a 12.4 with a few bolt ons, an STi with a few bolt ons/tune (basically a stage2) will run 12s. they are actually 2 very well matched cars.

must been bad driver running 14s my stock ta with 273 gears auto ran faster than that i as running low 13 and when i ran with the a/c on just to see the loss in power i ran high 13

LT1's can run 13.8
LS1 Camaros have known to break 12.8-12.9's stock.

agreed. i am interested in getting a sports car and trans ams are around $8-10g right now compared to an sti at $16-18g. the sti is more fun in the corners granted but that classic RWD V8 muscle is winnin me over. and with the extra $6g i can invest to make a real a monster :)
