In ENGLISH its written and pronunced Rumania. In the RUMANIAN language its written and pronunced ROMANIA with a little cap on the first A and the first A is pronunced a little different.

I grew up seeing these all over Rumania. I always like to see the Renault R8 Gordini or as they are called in Rumania Dacia 1100. My brother in law who lives in Rumania has a friend who is the towns mechanic and he built one its not a Renault but a Dacia 1100 same thing different name. Its gray and he bored the motor out to 1200CC and that thing is fast he replaced everything internally on the motor and now the motor is good for about 120HP. For this little body it really hauls.

it could be my old girl,running r16ts engine,twin 45's,full r12g engine.front radiator with fibreglass shroud and engine service cover cut into back parcel shelf..curious if it is,great cars

My dad and I, we had one just like that... all Gordini... engine, suspension, direction... that was an amazing car to drive... !!!!!
