@SuperEvil333 American remakes hardly all suck. They're hit or miss. Girl with the dragon tattoo and let me in come to mind. And most critics even prefer this version. To each his own I suppose.

@oki2306 yup, tsuyoshi disappears, when toshio spat god knows out of his mouth o.o, and Kanna eventually gets her jaw ripped of and its shoved into Hisayo's stomach, which i can guess is what happened after she gets back up and growls like a dinosaur in gakkou no kaidan when Kayako is there rattling at her O_O

@Blamepandora85 the sfx on the grudge kills it because it gets annoying, i could barely hear kayako at the start of the grudge when yoko is in the room because the sfx taking over the sound of kayakos death rattle, its much freakier on here because there's barely any themes taking over the talking, and the grudge is only 15yrs and up, its a kids movie. the original is always better, american remakes suck, look at the state of one missed call.

Guys the reason she was afraid of the cat was cuz it was a black cat. To japanese, black cats bring curses and bad luck.

I agree. The American version is better. This is stale and atmospherically shallow, never mind the poor production value.
