While giving a Christmastime tour of Central Park, my pedicab passengers cruised out to the corner of 67th and CPW to see 55 CPW, where Ghostbusters was shot. On our return to the park, a red-tailed hawk flew from The Tavern On The Green right across our path, carrying a pigeon she or he'd just caught!
He lifted the pigeon up into the tree while I whipped out my camera. It's fantastic to see nature in action, just 20 yards from the street, right in the center of Manhattan.
Other videos on YouTube show NYC carriage drivers charging $40 for a 20-minute ride. On their 20-minute ride you'll never even see the Tavern On The Green, let alone Bethesda Fountain, the Lake, the Dakota, Strawberry Fields, or the tower of the American Museum of Natural History.
I only charge $60 for this 60-minute tour, a far better value, ranging over a much bigger area of the park. Do youself a favor, go to the web site in the title and schedule your ride right now.
Welcome to New York,
