  • Why'd you guys copy digital rev?

  • @GJLOVESLA

Who? Not familiar with them. We haven't copied anyone, but its hardly beyond the realms of possibility that someone else will have done something similar.

  • this is just like watching dumb kids destroying their xbox, iphone, macbook, etc.. good review though. and i hope u dont mind asking.. did u get those cameras for free to test them, or did u buy em? thx

  • @nerxboy we got them all for test, but we do have to send them back unfortunately! :-)

  • What did Pentax say about those corroded contacts? As I wasnt expecting to see battery contacts which are supposed to be sealed inside a waterproof casing to corrode.

  • nice

  • i would like to know about the quality on the pics in every test, also the screen (small, big, good quality, etc...) and witch one is the best. but no comment like "they are really good" or "if it wasn't for this it work good" i want brutal trues.

  • @jeffhanson1 The frozen shutters were nothing to do with the hammer. It was because they were literally frozen solid. Once they thawed out fully the shutter buttons all worked fine.

  • @WhatDigitalCamera lol DigitalRev but i can understand. Just asking because their video wasnt too long ago... oh well lol

  • @ftpaddict thanks for your comment. The main reason we froze the cameras is because each of them claim to be able to survive a -10 degrees Celsius temp, so we wanted to see if they were genuine.

I was also disappointed by the Pentax, as it was coming close to winning the test before it died!

  • @otristram Good point. I noticed that too. I imagine using the hammer gently is less shock than just banging the camera on the floor break the ice. Oh well, I guess we'll never know if those cameras would have still had frozen shutters if the hammer was used.
