I'm more impress with the equipment you have there on the racks.

I admire your Xylophone/Marimba complete with all sorts of mallets in the background, I can't wait to grow old, buy my own house; sound proof several rooms and set up a musical playground for my creativity to be unleashed upon at any possible waking hour of the day. Being a musician rules! Period!

are there any plans to make this compatible with morphwiz? it would make everything a lot easier if i could create a drum track on this and then record over it on morphwiz

@endlessvoid4 I think jordan is a pioneer of music what so ever and he´ll elevate DT to a new hemisphere!

Now I don't know what I want to have.
JR's iPhone or JR's beard.

@JIMINIK1 i've managed to make some controlled beats, it's just a matter of playing with it until you get a feel for the controls. there's a lot you can do with it, especially when you pair it up with morphwiz. check out my video Morphwiz and Hexatone. You really can make very controlled beats, although what i did there was nothing too fancy

Bought it, its fun, but its just a toy, not mind blowing, the editing is not that deep and the stock samples it boasts about are pretty bad, gotta use your own.
If you want to make solid beats, get something like beatmaker. If you want to make kinda aphex twin'ish beats that you cant truely control get hexatone, it is a fun toy! :)
I don't get this how am I supposed to record guitar to any of this? none of these beats seem useful at all, unless you're doing trance hip hop or techno. I haven't seen this program first hand but I'm wondering ... any hard rock metal beats possible here? a little double bass once in a while maybe?? more something like what would be in dream theater?
looking for a ipod drum looper that could be used for writing riffs in this genre... is this good for that??

JR Hexatone specializes in sound sequences that would be perfect for the Drum N Bass, Glitch, Techno, electronic scene. You could do any type of groove on it, since you can import your own samples, BUT for standard rock or metal type drum parts you would want to get a different app. Hexatone is for those who want to think outside the box and do wild creative, (sometimes with a random twist) material.... For metal beats to jam to- I like a program called Thump.....
