I made this 3D model in 3 marathon 6 hour sessions in Photoshop, 3DSMAX, and ZBrush. I wanted to do a human comic book style character.

What I cam up with was the idea of an assasin who goes back in time to alter history. He has a robotic eye that can see 2 seconds into the future.

  • on my calc it says it took u 19 hours?? is that right

  • Close. It took me 18 hours. You included sections which were just the render that did not account for the actual modeling time.

Thanks to all for your comments.

  • Awesome, as usual.

Do you just do character models or have you tried modeling some environments?

  • I haven't done too many environments. I think I'll do a few weeks if I haven't gotten a job by then.

  • I do this professionally myself and have to say that this would be much better if you edited it down to the final concept, turn around, modeling and zbrush sculpt. You wouldn't have to run it so fast either.

  • Mad skills man, awesome:D

  • Would you ever try modeling in Autodesk Maya? I'm an Animation student at Alfred State and they make us use Maya. I'm in the process of modeling my character.

  • exelente es un trabajo completo desde la ilustracion hasta el final

  • lol phone call

  • I wouldnt wait. there are free programs to get you started. theres blender and others..

  • r u working for any animation company?

  • God, I would love to get into 3d modeling and animations, but those programs look to expensive for me at the moment. Guess its just C++ until college... anyways, great work on the assassin. It looks professional.

  • Amazing work, a little too fast for me though, I would love a download link for this in normal speed because I love the detail you put into. Great job.

  • Wow man, you've brought a concept model to life. One more thing to make it really come to life is by animating it. By this way you could prove you created a living.

    Impressive work.
