@hassledguy I really don't know. I'm guessing they did but without any credits since they were just trying to get started and landed a national contract. I think the perception them being a "house band" would have hurt them this early in their career. (Please don't have a "bar bet" based on my answer. I am always so wrong. However, my wife reinforces dat complex dat I got so who knows?)

@electric57booty James was really close friends with Eddie Bo and can be heard on a number of Eddie's latter recordings. He also worked with Ellis Marsalis, and a young Harry Connick Jr. among many others in the music world.
