  • When was this recorded? It rocks...

  • @knighterrantfilms Either 1969 or 1970. Can't say I know for sure.

  • This song is sooooooo good, I can't stop playing it. Thank you 9thW for posting! Happy BDay to Ivan Neville! Maybe he has some insight, I will try to find out.

  • @TXBKgirl Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for the "heads up" on Ivan's birthday. I'm always about a week late on birthday wishes.

  • Classic James Black on drums.

  • @electric57booty James was really close friends with Eddie Bo and can be heard on a number of Eddie's latter recordings. He also worked with Ellis Marsalis, and a young Harry Connick Jr. among many others in the music world.

  • So good.

  • Classic James Black on drums.

  • @sayyes2bull The arrangement is so insane. It's just so freakin cool!!!!!

  • @hassledguy I really don't know. I'm guessing they did but without any credits since they were just trying to get started and landed a national contract. I think the perception them being a "house band" would have hurt them this early in their career. (Please don't have a "bar bet" based on my answer. I am always so wrong. However, my wife reinforces dat complex dat I got so who knows?)
