Kindle Comes to Apple's iPhone TSC's Gary Krakow tries the new, free Kindle for iPhone software and now wonders why anyone in their right mind needs to spend $360 on Amazon's Kindle hardware device.
it's not exactly the same, as the kindle is a lot easier on the eyes then the iphone screen, and the kindle is sized to be about the same as a paperback book. I think that the iphone is great however it is not a very good long term replacement for the Kindle.
there's no substitute for the iphone but different companies keep trying to imitate it, just like everything else

does the iphone run for 30+ hours without needing a recharge?
oh. I guess that would be a reason people would want a real kindle and not their iphone.
For a moment there, i thought TheStreet had something relevent to say
