The purpose of this video is to show the Samsung technicians what's happening to my monitor.
Update: I called Samsung and they said that the weird screens meant that the monitor was broken. (no duh!) Anyway, they're sending me a new one, along with an empty box to send back the broken one. Sweet! That's great customer service!

Update, May 2008: No problems since this one. I love this monitor!

  • Samsung has great Customer Service. I bought a 65 inch DLP from them and it died a year after I had it, they shipped me a brand new on fedex air! Gotta love their standard 3 year warranty!

  • Agreed. Samsung sent me a replacement monitorm and I love it.

  • do u reccommend this screen? it gets good reviews beating the Iiyama 24"

  • I love it, and yes I do.

  • Did you connect with Analog or Digital cable?

  • Digital. It was definitely broken though, and Samsung was very good about sending me a replacement.

  • Thank you for leaving this up. My 245b was doing the same thing. I ended up having faulty capacitors, which I replaced. It's been working for 3 weeks and no issues so far!

  • That's a faulty logic board happened with my 205bw. I had to buy another screen because my warranty was out by just over a week! i got a second 205bw and swapped the logic boards and my original monitor works perfect again..now i need another logic board for the second screen lol!

  • Buy a LG W2600H-PF !!

  • How could a monitor not be compatible with a computer? Lol! If their video card and monitor have the same connection ports, just plug in the cable and it will work, unless it's broken like this one.

  • An addition for my last comment, It may also be a manufacturing problem....

  • The reason that happened is because he monitor is not compatible with your computer...even if it worked at the beginning it would notice in a while that the software is not installed or not properly. I have a Samsung T240HD TV/Monitor and I had the same problem, I did some research and the problem was fixed. I recommend a Samsung T series its a great monitor and a full 1080P HDTV.

  • Buy a SAMSUNG 2033SN it good!

  • thats because they go under ISO class 2, so they only replace if 7+ dead pixels.

  • I got my Monitor (this one 2433BW) about 1 month ago now, i had a lot of bad pixels (a whole row seemed not working right).

I called Samsung and they replaced it within 5 days!

i was like WTF that was fast...
