This powerhouse vocal performance, that defined her musical career, deserved a better video. Guys in trucks maybe, with a dog for sure. And a mobile home. This piano in the sky thing was a joke.
AH you're right! That's the way I understood it when I first heard the song, and listened to the lyrics logicaly. Since then I've heard it so many times and got so familiar with it that I only hear the music and there isn't that flow. It's like when you can't tie your shoelaces if the stop doing it automatically and really think about how to tie the knots.
Um, that's just the question she's not asking. If she just said "I should ask but I won't, cause I don't think I wanna know," you would be wondering what she's not asking.
