Picking the right shoes makes a difference, but nowhere near as much as keeping a lean physique.

  • What model of running shoes do you wear?

  • @MrMaryJanes yea i bought some finally this past spring.i love them! they are the best!too fun to run in..for the first time i felt like i could run forever lol i want so many other pairs now that they have. i can climb a tree like a monkey in those things!incredible lol.so fun!!

  • @coffeefreakzzz vibram five finger shoes are perfect.

  • what is your opinion on minimalist shoes/barefoot running?

  • Fat weight isn't the same as shoe weight. It's easier to move weight closer to our GCM than it is to move a weight farther away from our GCM (weight around our feet). Put another way, 3 pound ankle weights on both legs is much more difficult to run with than even an extra 15 pounds of bodyfat. Also, shoe weight isn't the only thing separating racing flats from trainers. There's heel-toe diff., flexibility, cushioning, support, traction, etc.

  • @coffeefreakzzz im really curious to know if u hated them or loved them...everyone swears they run way faster in them, and gets rid of knee pain, back pains etc..

  • @coffeefreakzzz give them a go!!at least for a few weeks and let us all know ur tried opinion of them as the insanely healthy fruitarian marathon runner u are. lol!

  • have u seen or heard or tried the vibram five finger shoes yet?

pretty crazy, lol, but i really want a pair.my feet and arches r good no real problems going to which would cause me to worry. this whole barefoot running and minimal shoe running thing is getting big.i like the science behind the idea of the vibrams,i read a bunch of unbias feet doctor articles too.seems like something worth trying.what r u thoughts on vibrams?have u tried them yet?i think it would pretty cool for u to
