Rare view of two steam locomotives with an eleven car train plowing snow up a 4% grade at Coxo crossing. It had snowed the night before and the Aspen trees are in fall color. For more info visit cumbrestoltec.com or cumbrestoltec.org
Great job. I'd of been there if I thought my car could make it on Cumbres Pass. C&T cancelled there bus to Antonito that day - safety concerns. Your video is close to being there.
This is a very good video. Good color, clearity and the photographer had the sun to his back to avoid sun spots and glare. It's also good to have scattered clouds in the sky. There is nothing more beautiful than the sound of a steam engine whistle. I retired from the Santa Fe Rwy after 38 years and miss hearing the sounds. I spent 36 years in a control tower in Dallas. Tower 19. I am 75 and we had steam engines when i went to work as a telegraph operator in 1958.

I've ridden the C&T many times. It is one of my favorite attractions when traveling southern CO or norther NM.
