IN MEMORY OF DESSEL

I was asked to put this slide show together for the friends and family of Dessel
who died in the Philippines on the 5th Feb 2009 from a motorcycle accident.
I hope I have done it well enough.
I was feeling very emotional while doing this :(
He was a very kind sweet person who died too young and he will be greatly missed.
He was also a friend of mine, so I hope this video will help to make his memory live on.
RIP Dessel.

For anyone who rides a motorcycle, please, please, wear a crash helmet.
This is the second friend I have lost in this way.
I have also had a motorcycle accident and although I got a cracked cheek bone,
the crash helmet I wore prevented more serious injury and saved my life.

@tantayclub613 Looking at your tricycle video, out of all the hundreds riding those bikes only a handful were wearing crash helmets. It is not surprising that so many get killed in motor accidents over there! In most all countries it is compulsory and illegal to ride a bike without a helmet on.

Safety rules should be made more strict to all riders, that way there will be less deaths!

i know how it feels to lose someone so dearly to us in a sudden. my brother also died in a vehicular accident. he was only 20 then.. it was shocking! it took me so long before i realized that i really lost my brother.. i miss him so much..

@shaiana80 I am very sorry to hear that you lost your brother too that is very sad.

We all have to face death at some point in our lives but when they are taken from us so young it's worse. Be strong, you still have the memories which keeps his spirit alive and he will always be in your heart. Take care.

Not a prob., Jeff. It hrts so vey much when we lose some one especiially when they are so very young...we are suppose to die before our children/loved ones...nt the other way around. Again, my heart truly feels your pain.

I find it hard to watch this video now as it always brings me to tears. But I leave it here for his family to come to when they want and leave words for him.

When I chatted to my friend and the family of Dessel on cam they showed me him laying in state in the coffin, It is a memory that I shall never forget :(

This is the third friend I have lost this year, it has upset me greatly.
