Home brewing an Octoberfest on a HERMS system. Here we have just taken the first mash to the boiler and started the first batch sparge. We batch sparge with the recirc pump on for a very clear wort, generally about 20 minutes then take that to the boiler. We are between these steps here. If you wonder, the whole Idea behind the equipment was total mobility. I have had to sell 3 all grain systems due to moving, not this one as it breaks down into individual components.
