I got real sick last year and couldn't breathe. They were going to intubate me and I was terrified. Luckily they were able to find a treatment to get me breathing again after 5 hours. I had fluid on my lungs and my bronchial airway was almost completely closed. I have no idea how it happened but it was beyond frightening.

you posted this along time ago but i was just gonna say they woudlnt care to be mindful about the teeth or lip damage if the person was dead

I know a maximum of 3 minutes,If 'm right.Above 3 minutes,there is the danger of the brain damage.But I'm not a doctor,so please correct me if I know it wrong.

You can't intubate a conscious person, he had to be sedated
