Great video. Please stop removing it, YouTube! I'm sure that will be breaking a lot of blog entries amongst the other annoyances of a missing video.

bubble...

No, it is cause one image is copyrighted, and they got a lawyer request for it to be taken down

Getting "defied authority to make a completely legal, ethical, and valid point" on your record is an accomplishment.

Haha.. Babies blogging in the womb.
-
Youtube wants to remove it because this vid offended youtube. hahaha

Regardless of whether or not their clips use of an image was legal under "fair use", copying someone elses video and uploading it without permission, is without question illegal. People who ask Youtube to "stop removing it" - it is not Youtube that removes it - they were requested too, by a claim from the author.

I am really glad this is back up.

Sure, but legal fair use is not the yt tos... You may want to read the part about slide shows with images owned by others. I am not saying I don't like the video, and that I don't support the group, I am saying this is mostly going to be between you and youtube if it gets taken down cause of the woman's lawyer.
What original song does this video use?

It is a play on "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel.

Unfortunately, I uploaded it before looking into the law in detail. So given that it is already online and it does seem to be open to interpretation as to whether or not the creator of the video violated any laws, I will leave it up. Also, I am not sure how exactly jurisdiction on YouTube works, but I am in Canada and Canadian law provides more leeway in terms of fair use than American law.

After looking into the law a little more. It seems to me that it would be up to the courts' discretion whether or not this is fair use. It certainly isn't black and white.
