I have never been in favor of the death penalty. It's beyond me why The US is the only country in the developed world to still practice such a barbaric punishment. I say if anyone's proven guilty of murder beyond the slightest doubt, then let them rot in prison.

So very young kids should be killed for killing someone, people that have snapped after years of terrible abuse should be killed, even if theres a very good chance that through treatment they can be fixed? Im sure it has been used to get many people off that it shouldnt have. Im guessing you dont really know what your talking about or any of the disorders these people get diagnosed with. What about if i killed the guy that raped my daughter? Killed because it was "premeditated in cold blood"?

do you know how long death row inmates are kept in prison? in their own wings? with years and yeras of legal appeals... you think they cost much less?

And yeah having had friends killed yourself would really make your view on the morality of the death sentence a balanced and smart one!

Talking about the money for prisons how about let the people in for drugs offenses out... because the US is totally retarded for the punishments for that and it costs a hell of alot more keeping them in.

That's so fucking stupid.... DO you know how much TAX MONEY it costs to keep someone in prison for life, especially our overcrowded prisons which are mostly full of non-violent drug offenders.

AND, since you obviously have never had a loved one or family member killed in cold blood by some other asshole, I'll spare you this one time.

I've had a good friend get sucker-punched in the side of the head, he went into a coma and died 2 weeks later. I had another friend killed by a drunk driver. F U

FUCK ANYONE who says mass murderers should not be executed on grounds of "insanity". I'm sorry, but anyone who willingly takes another persons life, premeditated in cold blood, (not self defense which is a whole other can of rotten worms) is CLEARLY INSANE, and should not be treated differently. If they are INSANE, they are unfit for work, life, humanity, existence.

Let's EXPERIMENT on them. More was learned from the NAZIs experiments than ever, so why not use these waste of lives.
