Asus G50V-A1 in game video: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Here's a short video showing how Call of Duty 4 performs on the Asus G50V-A1 (2.53ghz CPU, 9700M GT GPU, 4gb 800mhz ram, 500gb HDD (250gb x2 set in RAID-o, XP Pro). Settings for the game is 1680x1050 resolution with all details enabled, low dynamic lights and AA off, model and water details set to normal. The notebook was hooked to an external 22" Samsung monitor.

Is this the older version of the G50Vt-A1??? Because I am interested in buying this laptop but the GPU is a 9800M GS instead.

Yes, the G50V-A1 is the older G50 series. The new version is the G50Vt-A1 and has a better GPU :)

I need help deciding between this and the Sager NP8660. Specs are pretty similar but what's better for gaming?

The NP8660 will be slightly better due to a better GPU; however, it's quite a bit more in terms of cost.

Similar..., dude ps3 and xbox run at about low-medium settings at 30ish frames. This runs it on high settings on full hd resolution with over 30 frames. This laptop is wayy better than xbox 360 and ps3
