iPad predicts Rare cards in a sealed Magic the Gathering Booster Box

I use the Return to Ravnica Box Mapper to predict which rare cards are in certain sealed booster packs.

How many boxes of magic did you have to open to learn the pattern or whatever it is?

Usually around 35 boxes per set. But I collect box opening data through youtube videos or user submitted boxes, since I don't really want 35 boxes for myself. :)

So the MtG sets are rigged? Sorry, I'm pretty new to this stuff and seeing this makes me not want to delve any further into it. It all seems so jaded.

Like most things these days, it is packaged by a machine. Machines can be predictable. If you wanted, you could figure out which serial number will be printed on the bottom of your next prepackaged food item out of a box.

The predictions are based off the first few packs you open. Maybe you didn't watch it all of the way through. Anyway this is an outdated version, it doesn't have the sleeve map and it doesn't map foils. You should check out my more recent RTR box opening using v1.2.3

Wow this is outrageous, now I know. Luckily I'm in charge of dealing with magic cards at my shop and don't do this. I wonder if any shops around town do it though.
