I'm taking Rogers advice and starting my own little farm in up state NY. Now before the "Green Acres" tune starts playing in your head, it's not a typical farm. It's all about propagating my neighborhood famous grape vine. Want to know more about propagating one of your famous plants or bushes? This site can get you started on your new farming career, even if you live in a flat in downtown Brooklyn.

  • excellent nfo. I'll take a gander at the site because we love basil, cilantro, spinach, tomatoes, etc. pops used to have a garden with sugar cane, etc. Thanks Boomer, it is time to get started for sure.

  • Sugar Cane!! I've read that simple commodities are going to be hard to come by..good idea. I'd buy a sugar cane plant.

  • I am also doing the same, I started an organic garden last year which I plan to expand on this spring. I also planted and punch a grapes last year which sould start vining the summer. I invested about 2K in differnt fruit trees organic soil, wood for raised bed and so on. Not to mention I stocked up on a lot of organic seeds. So I also agree with what Jim Rogers said. I will be posting some vids soon that will show my indoor spinach and lettuce. Good luck. Peace and Love

  • Wow! Your light years a head of me. Please send me your video when it's posted. I'd like to learn more as I go along.

  • Do you know about Verjuice & Dolmadies? The Italians etc use the unripe grape juice & leaves for food also...

  • I am working on my own garden too, lemons grapefruit, grapes, avacados, tangerines, chard, cilantro. Some of this was already here when we bought our home and I am planning more.

It is sensible and great therapy.

    Good video

    Lots of luck to you.

  • Start that victory garden and enjoy your life.

  • Yeah, Papa grew it, we ate it. We're in FL & it grew very good. We had peas, beans, peppers, plums, okra, and even some chickens. We were in the city too. But I haven't a clue, Papa died. Thnx for vids
