This animation represents the reaction that occurs when the nervous system is stimulated by pain. In the area of the synaptic clef neuro transmitters interact with receptor sites on the dendrite and dorsal root of the nerve cell. The electrical impules are created and nternalization occurs.

Do you even know what those red and purple things are? I'm clueless as to how 4th graders find these videos!!

  • At least have some labels so we know whats going on you twat!!!

  • @Axon36 I could resolve 90% of pain in a majority of cases. Save their lives doing it. Improve their overall health and sense of well being and security. Return them to work. Identify their needs through assessments of available information. I like your video by the way. It does not matter the source of pain. Cluster headaches are bad, as are migraines. But that pain is intermittent. Chronic neuropathic pain that does not go away, 24/7/365 will drive a man mad if not treated.

I do..I give more than a shit. Basically you're talking about syndromes as cluster headaches and similar.... among the worst pain than a person can suffer. However, the problem it's not only the cause..but the complexity of the system. Agree....pain can be defeated...but it will take time to understand how and where. Don't worry..we're kicking our own asses trying to resolve that problem.

  • @Axon36 The problem is, the "side issues" are killing patients because the pain is not being treated. That is murder. What you are saying is like a guy stabs you in the heart but it wasn't the knife that killed him. Who gives a shit. Treat the illness not the side issues. You treat the pain and the depression and blood pressure drops considerably. If you want to treat depression and high blood pressure then treat the cause, and that is pain. Chronic pain that is severe does kill.

  • @SuperNewf1

Those are side issues (blood pressure, depression, etc)... pain..per se..can't kill you.

  • @Axon36 In many ways. Pain causes blood pressure to rise dramatically. People in chronic pain that lasts for months, years, decades, are at high risk. The blood pressure rises in direct proportion to the amount of pain. Also there is a psychological component to pain. Pain will cause depression if it is not treated. Many patients fighting workers compensation claims are committing suicde or dieing of a stress related ilness as a result of not receiving treatment.

    Pain can kill?.....how?
