The last thing Gerard Daechsel remembers buying, save for his bus pass and monthly rent, is a solid pair of boots in the 1960s. Since then, he has lived as a freegan, an anti-consumerist who forages necessities from what others throw away. His environmental message is simple: we need to find inventive ways to reuse and reduce the garbage produced by the things we consume.
@TheOwlcatGirl He should donate more of what he finds in instead of keeping it, I was never a hoarder but I'm a bit of a pack rat ..closet wise I windup cleaning/reorganize once it a year or every other year. But the other then that my house is clutter free.
