Real wages fell far below the standard of living, Well paying industrial jobs moved to Mexico, and China. The American economy went from producing products to consuming products. The public was encouraged to make purchases on credit. Dollar devaluation and Inflation continued it's rise all the while. This catastrophe could be seen from miles away. What's next?
