So did something in particular happen that started the fire? Like did the temp guage start to rise or what? Consider yourself lucky-- I have an 01 GP and kind of hope it has this same problem! Hate the damned thing!
They never fixed the part - they just held it around for a while and told you it was fixed. I don't trust any mechanics which is why I do almost all of my own repairs. If you look at my videos you can how I fixed the key getting stuck in the ignition of my 02 grand Prix.

they probably didnt replace the part that was supposed to be replaced and only fidgeted with it enough to make it leak.
