Nice intro for your channel. Like that you're using an old aluminum frame back. Last spring I got nostalgic about my first backpack, a Kelty outer frame pack, similar to yours and found one at a used discount store for three dollars. It's from the mid seventies. Once I got all the cobwebbs and dust cleaned off, the pack fabric looked new. I think it might have only been used one or twice. I think it's an old Tioga. Haven't used it for camping, yet. Maybe this spring. I usually carry soft packs.
That was cool! I just used my external frame pack for the first time (found it at a goodwill store). It was really comfortable.
My snow hiking so far has only been on x-country skis. But I am hoping to do more hiking by foot this winter
