On Saturday 9 April 2011 a man was walking in the vicinity of the Adelaide University grounds near Victoria Drive, when he was approached by four teenage youths. They attempted to rob him of his money near the front of the South Australia Art Gallery. However the attempt robbery turned into the victim being assaulted which resulted in a broken leg.
The suspects rang away in a westerly direction along North Terrace. The male youths are described as one of African appearance, about 15-years-old, about 172cm tall, he had dreadlocks a slim build and was wearing black jeans, black jacket, black cap and a light coloured t-shirt.
The second teenage boy was of Middle Eastern appearance, about 16-years-old, 183cm tall, with blonde hair, he was wearing a black 'Everlast' hoodie with white writing, tracksuit pants and bum bag.
The third teenage boy was of Caucasian appearance, 183cm tall, with brown hair and a solid build, wearing blue jeans and white t-shirt with red print on the front.
The last teenage boy was of Caucasian appearance, 16-years-old, 172cm tall, with dark hair, wearing black t-shirt with motif on front and black shorts.
Eastern Adelaide Police are hoping that you can help identify these youths by watching the CCTV of them prior to the robbery.
