He is not actually parodying anything. This comedian is known for going on stage without anything at all prepared, he literally uses what's around him and goes with it. In this case, it was the dawings of the leave-less tress behind him. The "act" is about 2 minutes global warming, and the other 30 or 40 minutes other stuff. He is hilarious! I love him.

This guy thinks he is parodying environmentalists - he is really parodying climate sceptics who find in comedians like this a cathartic release from the discomfort they feel about people who question hyperconsumption. I dont find this funny. I find it deeply disturbing. Yes lets laugh about climate change but lets laugh at people who find ridiculous ways to justify their own damage to the planet. There are some fantastic comedians doing that.
