This is an example of the soundtrack overriding the timing and image. It doesn't fit. Two of three key components are out of sync. If the musical instruments would have matched the time period, then it's possible to get away with the dancer.

Really, Cleaner? I think you have to allow the director a bit of artistic leeway. The whole point of the commercial was to contrast the time period against modern "club" themes. They weren't trying to "get away with the dancer", as he is an intentional anachronism. The point being, that a bacardi mojito has the power to turn even an 1860's "gentleman" into a raging party animal. If you really can't grasp the intent of the commercial, you might have acute autism. Or you're just a retard.
