there is the arument that vegans kill more animals because more field mice are killed in maintaining crops to produce vegan meals than would be to produce one omni meal of the same kcal measurement.

@fcarabat Well, usually philosophy runs in families...much like religion. It's his opinion and his view that people shouldn't have children if they are just going to further the consumerism that is rampant in the world. And, I didn't say that I agreed with him...I said that choosing not to have children is not the same as killing children, not that all omnivores should not have children.

Yeah, I'd rather see the extinction of livestock animals than continue to eat meat. I'll go vegan. Hooray for embracing life!
