The debt relief concerts mentioned in the video raised a lot of money but not one cent was actually applied toward helping poor nations. Instead vulture funds were able to make hundreds of millions of dollars by buying the debts at the newly reduced rates and then still hold the debtor nations to the original highly inflated debt amount. The more the dollar inflated, the more poor countries had to pay, far beyond what they had originally borrowed. Check for videos about "vulture funds".

Isn't it amazing......they were having 'drills' on that day JUST LIKE 9-11 in New York! Can we see a pattern here? And, the benefit concert to pay the debt of 3rd world countries? We already know, those debts have been forgiven, and those countries pay directly to the World Bank. Great one Spud....can't wait to see the rest.
