  • Thanks to N1TI, I purchased the 2 matching unit (which I am rebuilding).

The Cushcraft R5 is a good 20-6 antenna.

Great for DX due to low radiation angle (near horizon)!

We use for Field Day on 2 stations ... one worked Alaska on 15 meters and other station worked Virgin Islands.

  • "The" shack, "the" yard, "the" outbuildings. We use such an interesting manner of expression when we describe "my" shack, "my radios," or "my installation." I wonder where this ergot came from?

  • Just added more radials tonight...much better performance on 10 and 15.
