  • I will make a reply video for you if you are interested?

  • And one more tip, when going for a smash like the one in 0:56 , dont have your arms preloaded like that, you will lose alot of power in that shot, you should have your arms almost together , only extend , lift elbow and have racket behind your head, and follow through all in one motion. or else you are just losing the *RACKET SPEED* and the sting is gone, if I were you I would move to the back of the coart quicker, get a solid position first instead of carrieng your racket in a preloaded possis.

  • @shaunieboy24 , What I meant was the way you have your wrist locked to the outside (away) from your body when you preload , try having your wrist going upwards when preloading, I am talking about frames 0.56 and 0.57 , you will not get as much power with such locked wrist

  • @cernovlasy But she can hurt her self, because, when she hold the requet with a angle of 180 between requet and forearm, during the deceleration fase of the smash movement, she will than use the muscles of back side of fore arm wich are very week. When the angle is 100 degree, than is easyer to do pronation of the fore arm wich couse longer traveling road of requet and easyer slowing down and that all is less stressfull on the muscles.

  • @Odisej1 That doesn't matter at all. What matters is the angle between the forearm and the arm, which must be less that 90 degress. Then if you hold the racket vertical or with some inclination it's just a matter of taste as long as you have a relaxed forehand grip.

  • @Wozerezow She's using a relaxed forehand grip, and she tightens it just before impact, moving towards a fist grip... what's wrong with that? I think there are too many "coaches" all over the internet...

  • @hoangiepongie , there is a limit as to how much power you can produce with that grip of hers. you should go over your basics.

  • @Sleepingpillz LOL I'm blushing XD and btw if you are that girl in the vid, you're kinda awesome.. :P

  • @HoangiePongie I love you. XD You had something nice to say! You are what I call a 'different person'. You show creativity and open-mindedness which is rare in most societies. =D <3

  • I don't care what people say about her grip, but clearly her smash is great! And if she can smash better than you, then shut up. Her grip works fine for her, so like my coach always say, "if it's not broken, don't fix it!"
