  • I love everything that Rashawn Ross does. No matter what it's awesome

  • I love when Rashawn Ross sings it gives the song a very deep tribal tune which I know that's what they are getting across but it's awesome in my point of view.

  • lovelovelove(:

    bamf dude, bamf

  • at least Leroi got replaced by someone that is very good as himself... Im sure Leroi would be happy about that. But RIP ROI :/

  • the bass in this song is so fun to play.

  • Much as I miss Roy and morn his passing, I think it's Butch's absence that is felt in the new performances more! The whole dynamic of keys is completely missing, replaced with Tim's electric, which is all well and good, but I think it unballances the songs more.

Anyway: still have a whole lot of love for DMB, and still find their music to some of the most soulful and heartfelt creations in this crazy world!

    Much love!

  • Rashawn has been a fixture of the band since 2006. Dave actually introduced him as "the newest member of the Dave Matthews Band" in the show they gave in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2007, released as Live Trax 10. He's a notable trumpet player and has grown a lot while touring with the band.

  • Hes also on Live at Piedmont park.

I also agree that he should be hired permanently.

Leroi and Rashawn were an amazing combination of talent.

    R.I.P Leroi.

  • That is Rashawn Ross. He has been notably playing with them since 2005. He can be seen on the Weekend on the Rocks DVD. That is when I first saw him with the band.

  • Fantastic version of a fantastic song. Who's that guy at 1:42? Does he always play with the band? He's awesome. They should hire him permanently.
