Whenever I try to explain Van Dyke to people, which is NOT easy by the way, I generally play them Donovan's version, followed by this one. It's even more amazing considering the now primitive conditions and technology it was created under. I never get tired of his compositions or recordings for the simple fact that I hear something new in them EVERY time.

Yes, I do. For the single, the song was spread out over two sides of a record. Part 2 is just the second half of this song.

@Polyphemus47 Since I've posted this, Van Dyke Parks has reissued this on his Arrangements Vol. 1 album in better quality. I highly recommend you buy it!
