A BBC Spotlight news report of a five-year-old girl from Devon was left in tears after her teacher reprimanded her for talking about Jesus in class and her mummy could be facing the sack.
That last part isn't such a big deal. I had a Catholic upbringing, was taught about hell and so on, and I didn't have night terrors about it or anything.
Also, I abandoned the faith in my mid teens with absolute ease. No long term damage.
What is a big deal here is that free speech, whether you believe what is being said or not, is being jeopardized through a combination of politically correct fear-mongering and insane, beaurocratic stupidity.
education business is set up so liars can sell lies, make young live a lie not a life. all w/ logic/spirit need to get their kids out of the education mill as its a spirit/wealth transfer system that promotes atheism! its for puppets/peons, who're owned, they put blind faith in fools/tools/costumes, hell to pay soon. teacher/cheater recipe of letters & intent/purpose, same. teacher = know it all, if not they're student still. fascists sell education, learning is free, being taught costs a soul
@Rowan616 well so are people who have no kindness, love or compassion for others. BTW I'm a Christian and I help those who are in need. I help the hungry, homeless and poor because it is the right and moral thing to do. What about you Rowan616? Do you help others who are hungry, homeless and poor or do you just laugh, hurt and hate them because they are hungry, homeless and poor. If you do then you are just as bad as those who commit genocide in tyrannical type governments (dictatorships).
@trifulquita15 what about people who have and show kindness, love and compassion towards others? Do you think they too should be arrested for that as well?
I just think that it's gonna upset a 5 year old, telling them they'll go to hell if they don't believe in god - kids that age can sometimes take stuff other kids say at face value. I think they did the right thing here - it's not like they suspended her or got her in serious trouble, they just told her not to say something that might upset another kid.
She's only five. She probably didn't realize that it would result in her teacher reprimanding her. Some teachers think they're parents and that they should take the place of lecturing kids but they really shouldn't.
Solution: Teach your kids the truth, not some 2000 year old myth.

these sort of people fill their children's heads with fear & hate, then wonder why the kids get treated like this when they repeat it
