@justinmtoth The song is about sex and masturbation being deadly sins. I did listen to the lyrics- they are quite literal, explicit. I suspect people hear this song and go "no... it isn't what I think it is", hence the questions of what the line referring to the right arm means among others.
This song along with "Missing" and "Sorrow" refer to 'sorrow' I guess she had of sleeping around in her teens/tweens. I get the impression she was a little loose and it fucked her up really, really badly.

The Kind, isnt directly about God. It's speaking more along the lines of Sin, and how we constantly sin, and ask God to forgive us for it. It is also about people who claim to be christian, that really arent.
